Where I’m from: 

Born and raised in NYC.   I love the diversity, the culture, and most of all, the food!

 

How I learned:

I received a BA from Ramapo College of NJ on a scholarship, and an MBA in Finance from Mercy College with distinction.  I was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business. For Acting- I trained at Weist Barron Studios and coached by Paul Michael.  

 

How I started: 

I first got drawn into acting when I was six years old.  I was Snow White in “Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs” In college, my most memorable role in theatre was playing Pakeeza in Eric Bogosian’s “Suburbia”, where I had to learn the Pakistani language Urdu.  My most recent credits include a co-starring role on Blue Bloods, opposite Donnie Wahlberg.

What I'm up to now:

I’m a member and playwright of the New Short Play Festival- a theatre company for actors by actors. I wrote and acted in two short plays called, “Just Vote Dammit” and "Sex & the Quarantined City”.  Last season, I acted in “People Who Know Nothing About Making a Sh**ty Blockbuster Movie in Committee.” In 2021, I received the City Artist Corps Grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts to produce my plays Off-Broadway.

I’m also an audiobook narrator and a member of the Audio Publishers Association.

What else is cool?

During high school, I was part of a youth community activism organization called “Global Kids”, where I lead workshops and conferences.  I went to Japan and spoke at a global conference against nuclear weapons.  I even got to stay with host families to immerse myself in the Japanese culture.

What else I’m good at? 

Music-singing, dancing- channeling my inner J. Lo from her Fly Girl days in “In Living Color.”  Art- drawing.  Love going to museums.

What else I do? 

Fitness- HIIT workouts, yoga, and running.  I completed three half-marathons so far in 2022.   I’m into swimming, ice-skating, and tennis. I am a huge Yankees fan. I like to shake my booty on the dance floor and spend quality time with friends.  I love to travel.  I’ve been to places in Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.  I love the beach and my dream is to own a home by the water.
